The Index of Innovation for European Regions – NESI (IIRE is the original name in Spanish language) is built around 21 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which are grouped in five pillars: Research and Development, Education and Learning, Intelectual Property, Employment in Tech., Households ans Users.
